Day One of Music Success in Nine Weeks

Ariel starts out her book by encouraging the right state of mind with some good old fashioned goal setting. It felt good and I'll document some of my goals tomorrow.

I am particularly excited about Ariel's suggestion to limit our number of daily goals to six. I'm even more optimistic about her suggestion of writing down five daily victories in order to help us get into the winning habit.

In the meantime, Ariel suggested a notebook to write in. I've done that with a three ring binder. This will allow me to add and remove pages when needed. I'm also going to use dividers which will correspond with the chapters of Ariel's book.

Also, since I know that I frequently give up on endeavors like this one, I've found an accountability partner to work with me. He is a performer as well, and we've agreed to meet once a week to keep each other on track as well as to brain-storm how to most effectively use Ariel's principles for our own particular products.

One more very intrigueing suggestion from Ariel was to consider an intern to help with the busy work. Since I've always worked alone, this would be a radical step for me, but, I'd never have even considered it without Ariel's prodding.

Overall, a very good first day, and tomorrow, I'll post some goals!
